Zinc roofing and cladding at Castle Community Rooms, Framlingham

This 292m² single-storey timber frame community hall in Framlingham in Suffolk, replaced the 130-year-old St Michael’s Rooms close to the Grade I-Listed St Michael’s Church and Framlingham Castle.

Designed by James Gorst Architects, the new building features a spectacular vaulted entrance, opening onto the main hall.

AMR installed over 500m² VM Anthra plus standing seam roofing and VM Anthra standing seam cladding, fixed to a ventilated substructure. Full substrate was also carried out by AMR.
